GratTrack Terms of Use

Last updated October 20, 2026 · Effective with GratTrack version 1.8

GratTrack is licensed to you under Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Apple EULA"). These Terms add details specific to GratTrack. If these Terms conflict with the Apple EULA, the Apple EULA controls.

1. Agreement

By downloading or using GratTrack, which is published by Jake Smart, an individual developer in Manahawkin, NJ, USA, you agree to the Apple EULA and to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app. The app is intended for users 13 and older (16 and older in the EEA and UK).

2. The app and ads

GratTrack is free to download and is supported by ads from Google AdMob, as described in the Privacy Policy. Some features, such as the PDF export, may be unlocked by choosing to watch a rewarded ad. Ads and their content come from Google and its advertisers, not from me, and I'm not responsible for third-party products that are advertised.

3. Remove Ads purchase, offer codes and refunds

4. Your data

Your entries stay on your device. You're responsible for keeping backups (for example, iCloud device backups or CSV exports). If you delete the app or lose your device without a backup, your data can't be recovered, because I don't hold a copy.

5. Not tax, legal or financial advice

The Taxes estimator, the year-end packet, the reports and every calculation in GratTrack are estimates for your personal record-keeping only. They are calculated on your device from the numbers you enter, using simplified assumptions and published rates that may be incomplete or out of date. They don't account for every deduction, credit, local tax, filing status or individual circumstance. GratTrack is not tax-preparation software and not a tax advisor, accountant or financial institution, and it doesn't file anything with the IRS or any state. Always check your figures against your pay stubs, your W-2 or 1099 forms, and official IRS and state guidance, and consult a qualified tax professional. You are responsible for reporting your tips accurately (see IRS Publication 531).

6. Acceptable use

Don't reverse-engineer, misuse or interfere with the app or its ads. For example, don't tap ads fraudulently or use tools that generate artificial ad traffic. Use the app only as allowed by law and by the Apple EULA.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", as described in the Apple EULA. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I disclaim all warranties, and I'm not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or tax penalties or interest arising from your use of the app or its estimates. If a limitation isn't allowed where you live, it applies only to the extent permitted. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under consumer law that can't be waived.

8. Changes and termination

I may update the app or these Terms. If I do, I'll change the date above. Continued use after a change means you accept it. You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, except where your local consumer law requires otherwise, and subject to the Apple EULA.
