Remove Ads & purchases
How do I remove ads?
Go to More → Settings → Remove Ads → Purchase. It's a one-time purchase ($2.99 in the US), not a subscription. Ads, including the rewarded ad for the PDF export, go away on every device signed in to your Apple Account.
I bought Remove Ads but still see ads. How do I restore it?
Go to More → Settings → Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple Account you bought it with (iOS Settings → your name → Media & Purchases). If ads still appear, force-quit GratTrack and open it again, then email me.
How do I redeem an offer code?
Go to More → Settings → Redeem Code and enter the code in Apple's redemption sheet. You can also redeem codes in the App Store app (tap your profile → Redeem Gift Card or Code). Once the code is accepted, ads are removed.
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles all payments and refunds. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. I can't see or refund App Store payments.
Exports
How does the PDF export work with a rewarded ad?
In the free version, the PDF report (Taxes → Year-End Packet) unlocks after you choose to watch a short rewarded video ad all the way through. If you close the ad early, the export stays locked, and you can try again. If no ad is available, wait a minute and try again, or check your connection. Remove Ads unlocks PDF export without ads. CSV export never needs an ad.
Privacy & ads
Does GratTrack see my tips?
No. Your shifts, tips, photos and tax estimates stay on your device. There's no account and no server. Read the Privacy Policy.
How do I change my ad privacy choices?
Go to More → Settings → Ad Privacy Choices to change Google's consent and "Do Not Sell or Share" options (shown where they apply). To stop tracking, go to iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and turn GratTrack off. Without tracking, you'll see non-personalized ads. Remove Ads turns off ads completely.
Why was I asked to allow tracking?
After your first shift, iOS asks whether Google's ad SDK may use your advertising identifier for personalized ads. Either answer is fine, and the app works the same way. Your shift data is never used for ads.
Your data
Is there an account or password?
No. GratTrack has no logins, so there's nothing to reset.
How do I delete my data?
Go to More → Settings → Delete All Shifts, or delete the app, which removes all of its data from that device. Keep a CSV export if you want a copy.
Are the tax numbers official?
No. They're estimates for personal planning, not tax advice. See the Terms of Use.
